The two-year project is known as “Sea Change” and involves the development of a Hauraki Gulf Marine Spatial Plan. It is a partnership involving mana whenua and statutory agencies Auckland Council, Waikato Regional Council, the Hauraki Gulf Forum, the Department of Conservation, and the Ministry for Primary Industries. It will involve collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders and input from the public.

This project, funded by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), sought to help New Zealand Plant Producers Incorporated (NZPPI) develop a structured approach for optimising use of fungicides against myrtle rust in nurseries.
